Mark Ballas is heading for that Great White Way!

Dancing with the Stars’ 2-time Mirror Ball Champion Pro is recently noted for having been strangely absent from the Show's Cast Line-up for its latest, televised Ballroom endeavor, Season 23, despite having been a constant part of the Program’s  beloved Professionals since Season 4, and now elated Fans everywhere will know why!

“Thrilled to announce I’ll be playing the final “Frankie Valli” on @JerseyBoysInfo on Broadway starting Oct 18^th till Jan 15^th.  See U there”

The 30-year-old Dancer excitedly tweeted on September 6^th in the late afternoon, also sending out a short video via his Instagram page to further broadcast the announcement.

Mark’s fellow Champion Pro and longtime best friend, Derek Hough, has recently expressed, according to etonline.com, 

“It’s like a dream come true for him and I honestly cried when I found out.”

Currently a veteran of Broadway himself and set to star in its upcoming Singing in the Rain production, Hough also noted of his friend’s debut,

“I teared up because I just know how much this means to him and he’s so excited and it’s awesome.”

Mark’s peculiar phrasing of “the final ‘Frankie Valli'” does, of course, refer to fact that Mark will be portraying one the Play's lead characters of the same name during its final run on Broadway.

Noted for being the 12^th longest running show in the history of Broadway, the highly successful production, Jersey Boys, will officially be closing down from the Great White Way January 15^th, 2017.

An incredible opportunity, to say the least, for one of DWTS' fan-favorite Dance Instructors and Choreographers; and also, one that this particular Fan feels confident that Ballas will (Pardon my French!) kick @$$ at; but, I think that I speak for torn-Fans everywhere, Mark, when I say, Hey man, this is TERRIFIC news, and not to mention, quite the prestigious gig!  … As long as you’re “working your way back to” the Ballroom someday, right?!

DWTS’ 6-time Mirror Ball Champion Pro and Fan Favorite, Derek Hough, is, once again, returning to Broadway, starring in the beloved, Musical venture, Singing in the Rain, which is all set to Premiere sometime in January, 2017!

The exciting announcement was made during the Musical’s renowned Producer, Harvey Weinstein’s, annual pre-Oscar dinner (according to broadway.com) when Derek performed a more-than-promising looking number - presumably from the upcoming show - live on stage, along with a small troupe of fellow Dancers!

Cast in the Lead Role of Don Lockwood, Hough will, of course, be stepping in the dance-worn shoes of one of his cited personal, High-stepping Heroes, Gene Kelly, who unarguably stamped the now timeless role in the Oscar-winning, original, 1952 Film Classic of the same name, on which the Broadway Production is based!

This event will mark the Third Broadway appearance for the 2-time Emmy Winning Choreographer and Professional Dancer, whose previous Manhattan credits include Burn the Floor in 2010 and the starring role of Jack in New York Spring Spectacular in 2015!

… Oh, what a glorious feeling, and I’m happy AGAIN!!
