Ummm, we-e-e-ell …
An overall jovial Performance - if not a tad too loose and sloppy! - I really enjoyed Governor Rick & Emma’s portrayal of “Farm Livin'” upon the whole, though Governor Perry’s Quickstep did generally lack anything “Quick” and was, furthermore, far too heavy of “Step”!

(But, Hey! Then again, for better or worst, he WAS actually Leading the Dance – A rarely seen, yet completely necessary trait among the Show’s Male Celebrities - so that was great!!)
Meanwhile, Emma’s
Week 02 treatment of Homegrown Country Culture as a Routine once again tended
more toward the clumsy foot-stomping of Michael
Jackson’s portrayal of the Scarecrow in The Wiz.

(Sorry, Slater Fans -of which I am a part - but it does seem that choreographing Country is just a wee bit out of DWTS' endeared, English Emma's forte!)
And in the end, when it comes to those beloved Green Acres, we may indeed have been there, alright; but as for Great Dancing, we most certainly were not!
But, shucks, folks, never fret! For there is always as much room to grow within the Ballroom as there is on the farm, so keep at it, y’all!
