Well, to start things off, due props simply must go out to Witney, whose ever-brilliant choreography was excellently showcased in this demurely-lovely and breathtaking routine! … Brava, Wit!!

But as for Carlos dancing, it did fall short of the superb standard set by him over the past few Weeks – his dancing Lines being notably incomplete, his Frame dangerously bordering on “lacking” during one or two moments of the dance; and, of course, that fleeting second when he lost his footing – and did, therefore, fall short of earning a 10; HOWEVER, that being noted, I thought he performed this Waltz extremely well!

“… Right now,” began Judge, Julianne Hough, when critiquing this performance, “you’re kind of in the middle of the pack …” and Judge, Bruno Tonioli, further expounded, “… You’ve got to sort out a couple of things …you can’t hunch forward, in Hold. You kind of do that. … you’ve really got to sort that out technically; but, as a performance, I was totally memorized.”
Okay, well, in this particular case, the ‘Hunch” thing I’ll give on,
and defer to the Judging Panel’s obvious expertise, since even I could tell that something was off … even though it really wasn’t as bad as all that (!); but I’m afraid that I'm going to have to take issue with that whole “Middle
of the Pack” thing …

Okay, so sure, everyone brings a little something different to this
Season 21 competition, and blah, blah, blah, (Insert the usual PC dribble); but, anyone
who’s keeping up to date on the current, overall, competitive atmosphere can
easily surmise that, so far at least, there are 5, OBVIOUS, possible Finalists for this Season
of Dancing With The Stars and they
are: Bindi Irwin, Alexa PenaVega, CARLOS PENAVEGA, Nick Carter and Alek Skarlatos!

You ARE keeping up, right Julianne?
“I think both of you [Julianne and Bruno] are a bit fragrant,” Piped up
Judge, Carrie Ann Inaba, “ because
… dance is ‘Artistic Expression’, you said it earlier tonight, [addressing
Julianne] … I don’t care what your arms were doing, maybe they weren’t perfect,
that was mind-blowing, I’m so happy
for you!”

These mixed emotions from the show’s Judges were later confirmed by their bestowing of the dances scores: 9,8,8.
8’s, Julianne and Bruno? <Pffftttt> That is just
utterly ridiculous and all kinds of messed up!
