So Former Governor Rick Perry and his Pro Partner, Emma Slater were the unfortunate ones to receive Dancing with the Stars' second, Ballroom Boot last evening, as the generally bummer wrap up (Can’t they ALL just stay??) of Tuesday Night's Results Show for Week 03 of Season 23.
Making his mark within DWTS' Fall Competition as the Glitter Dome’s typical biannual - and always enjoyable - “Nice Guy”, if not one of its “Superb Dancers”, Governor Perry leaves this Season with his originally stated goals for joining in on all the dancing fun in the first place, including that of learning to dance for his daughter’s, Sydney Perry's, upcoming Wedding and bringing attention to the needs of our Country’s Veterans, well intact.
“My daughter is getting married the 15th of October,”began the Governor upon officially exiting the Show’s Ballroom,“But I can promise you I will look good on the Dance Floor for her! … I’m doing it for all the Veterans out there and I hope everybody will find a good Veteran’s cause to go help these guys … Thank you, guys!”
