DWTS Season 20, Week 05
REVIEW: Willow & Mark
Willow & Mark:
Willow Shields and her " … late …
late, for a very important date" dancing partner, Mark Ballas, danced a Foxtrot to "Alice's Theme" from Alice in Wonderland
(the Johnny Depp one ... not the creepy-enough-but-much-nicer Cartoon-Disney-Alice
from your childhood).
Willow & Mark dance The Foxtrot to "Alice's theme" from Alice in Wonderland. |
This dance reminded me just how creepy Alice in Wonderland really is ... I haven't lost that much sleep since I was seven ... thanks, Mark!
Willow's Foxtrot left something to be desired (although, once again, her theatrics were spot on); and, Mark was simply riveting in his portrayal of Harvey from Hell ... Eeek!
You know, most of the time, I find Mark's undeniable
showmanship quality to be more "creative genius" then anything else; but, every once in a while, Mark gets his "freak" on in a bad way ... As
was the case Monday night!
The very end of the dance, however, was very
dramatically cool and effective; but, taking Willow down the rabbit hole at the
end only accentuated the overall feel of the dance which was a little dark.
So … cool … but, ugh! <shiver>.
