Well, I gotta tell you, and to be honest, I was so much less than impressed with this next Routine!

Spastic Lines, a Faltering Frame, and what was easily bordering on Horrendous Footwork muddled up this particular Footballer’s Foxtrot; and, not to mention, that a deplorable lack of any kind of Musicality displayed near the end of the Dance (while admittedly, somewhat cute from a certain perspective, given the fact that Antonio’s adorable son, Antonio, Jr. took part in it!), was just all kinds of disturbing!
“… For this whole Routine,” began Judge, Carrie Ann Inaba, with the
Judges’ Critiques of the Performance, “… I saw much more ‘Refinement’ … You
[Antonio] did what Foot Ball Players always do so well on our show, you
gathered all the Energy from the Audience and I feel like you were going in for
the Touch Down, it was awesome! …”
Okay, whoa, slow down! <Blowing a Ref’s Whistle> WHAT, in the WORLD, is Carrie Ann talking about?!!
Seriously, but that is just plain IDIOTIC!
If I was made to describe this Dance by using only one, solitary word, THAT WORD WOULD HAVE BEEN UNREFINED!!
(Good grief, Inaba, have you lost it?!!)
“Well, I don’t like to disagree, countered Head Judge, Len Goodman (<Rubbing temples> Oh, no, please, by all means, Lenny! … “Disagree”!), “I didn’t see enough ‘Refinement’ in that,” (Ah! There, you see?! … You beautiful Brit, you! THANK YOU!!) “… I thought you did a very, very ‘Competent’ Performance, I loved ol’, little Antonio there [Antonio, Jr.] … but I wanted more ‘Refinement’.”
