Genius Choreography by Mark – What else? – stunned on Monday evening’s already heated Dance Floor and seized the attention of its gaping viewers when Season 22’s Dynamite Duo, Paige & Mark, absolutely KILLED this mature Latin Dance Number!

Exquisite Lines, Formidable Footwork, and some truly Creative Costume Changes enveloped this Passionate Routine – Not to mention, some brilliantly borrowed Hough-Table-antics! –

Granted, there was one moment during the Routine where the always bright and bubbly VanZant’s own amusement concerning the Adult-flavored Performance seem to get the better of her, causing her to break Character; but, otherwise, a 100% STELLAR Display!!

“… The thing is,” remarked Head Judge, Len Goodman, following the Routine, “with Dance, no one’s right and no one’s wrong, it's about ‘Taste’. Now, I think the Choreography was Brilliant! The Dancing was Brilliant!”

(Okay, well, so far at least, it would seem that our “Tastes” are aligned; and, excuse me, Len, but I am failing to see the problem here …)

“For me,” continued Goodman, “maybe a bit too hot and spicy! …”

Wait <Record Scratch>, WHAT?!  That was what you were driving at??  That this Number was too racey???  … THAT’s why you scored this Dance with a “9”??!!!

It was an Argentine Tango, for crying out loud! What did you want them to do, Len, hold hands and skip?!! ... Just sayin'!

“… You are just Phenomenal!” noted Judge, Carrie Ann Inaba, to Paige. “You push yourself in every single way, every time you go out there!  … I love the layers!  Like, you are powerful, you are athletic, you are erotic, you are sensual, you are sophisticated, you are dynamic, [and] I love watching you Dance!”
