With an on-going film and television Acting career that has spanned over an incredible 4 decades, Gary is perhaps best known for his Starring and Supporting roles in film favorites such as Lethal Weapon (1987), Predator 2 (1990) and Point Break (1991).

In addition, Gary received an Academy Award nomination AND a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actor in recognition of his portrayal of Buddy Holly in the 1978 film, The Buddy Holly Story.
