I thought Alek did an absolutely fantastic job in this Chris Kyle-dedicated performance, with a gratifying exhibition of great Frame, Grace, Musicality, and Lifts displayed during the routine!

True, Alek did miss that one dismount of that one, VERY impressive Lift; but otherwise, I found his overall execution to rate a Most Excellent!!
Oddly enough, and (to give credit where it is due) for the first time in this Season, the thing that I myself did not care for in this dance was Lindsay’s choreography, which I found to be jerky, spastic, and, dare I say, bordering on “Ugly”, instead of being the beautiful, soft, emoting, and wonderful piece that it very easily could have been!
Now, having noted that … WHAT could have DWTS Judges, Julianne Hough and Bruno Tonioli, been possibly thinking in their scoring of this dance?!!
8’s?!! SERIOUSLY?!!!
I’ll admit, I actually might have been okay with those scores if you had been scoring Lindsay’s choreography alone, but you are NOT scoring Lindsay, are you? No, you’re scoring Alek, and ALEK did AMAZING!!

And anyway, as Americans, you should really be ashamed of yourselves … scoring the Heroic Skarlatos, who dedicated his dance to fellow American Hero and The Greatest Sniper in American History, Chris Kyle, with anything less than a 10 … just for the appropriate and grateful recognition of him being him!
Or, heck, just go ahead and give this man the Mirror Ball, it’s the least that this Country can do; and I, for one, would have ZERO problems with it.
