Ladies and Gentlemen, once again pulling off the seemingly-impossible, I give you the ever-talented Witney, tasked with overcoming a whole new level of insanity:  Choreographing a mature, often severe dance to A (FRIGGIN’!!!) JUSTIN BIEBER SONG!!

Seriously now, how did this even come about?!

Chocked FULL of Content, this routine BRILLIANTLY rode the edge of combining song-appropriate, youthful “pop”py Choreography with a distinct adult story and flavoring woven throughout!

I’m not even sure how Witney pulled that off; and, I might have even doubted her success if I hadn’t already seen the dance for myself!

And what about Carlos?!  I gotta tell you, his dancing, which has consistently rated “Terrific!” from the start of the Season, just keeps getting better and BETTER!!

He was AMAZING, exhibiting throughout the performance an impeccable Frame, marvelous Musicality, perfect Character Portrayal, and superbly-executed Steps and Lifts!!

“I’m struggling, actually, with it,” Judge Carrie Ann Inaba announced, upon seeing the dance.  “… It was good, it was clean, and it was nice, and I love watching you [Carlos] dance, … but it didn’t touch me!”

<Record scratch> Ew! ... it didn’t WHAT, now?  … <Re-reading the quote> Oh.  … Well I should think not, Carrie Ann, it’s a Justin Bieber song!

 “… There was a lot going on [in the routine], and I felt like it didn’t come together and smack me in the face; and, that’s what I need at this point!”

Okay.

… Anyone?  No??  Well, good for you.

“You are an amazing dancer,” added Judge Julianne Hough, “And that dance was great, I think what Carrie Ann and I are feeling [is that] Argentine Tango is about passion, … it’s very dynamic, its highs, its lows, it’s sexy, it’s smooth, and then it’s very quick and fast!”

<Spaced out, lost in thought> Oh!  Sorry, I was just going through a quick, mental review of the dance and let’s see here… Yep!  Check, check, check, check, check, check, and uh, … <counting> … CHECK!

“… So, I think that’s what it lacked,” Julianne continued, “I mean, it was a great number; but, I think that it lost the ‘Passion’ in the Argentine Tango for me.”

Well!  I happen to think that what you lack is some common sense.

Did EVERBODY and their mothers just completely miss the fact that the song - an aspect of each dance, BTW, that the competing Couple/s have ZERO say in - was a JUSTIN BIEBER SONG?!!
For crying out loud, people, How much more “Passion” could Witney have POSSIBLY squeezed out of that childish dribble?!!

9’s?!!  “What do you mean?”  ?? (Get it?)
