Following 2 exciting nights full of Fierce Competition, Fabulous Freestyles, and Fantastic Fusions, DWTS has finally announced the WINNERS of its 20^th Season, Rumer Willis and Valentin Chmerkovskiy!!!

Yipikaye!!  "Rumer has it!" ... and I'm so thrilled!  Of course, not one of the three, Season 20 Finalists were undeserving of winning a Mirror Ball; but, not one was more deserving than Rumer Willis!

Because whether it is her mind-blowing Wk01 Foxtrot–ing debut, her “Far Out!” Wk03 Salsa, her delightfully villainous Wk05 Samba, or her smooth and passionate Wk08 Rumba, Rumer has consistently displayed a level of excellence befitting that of a Mirror Ball Champion, all while maintaining her naturally sweet, amiable, and cheery disposition!

And what about Val?  After joining the Professional cast of Dancing with the Stars in Season 13, this endeared Chmerkovskiy brother has waited out 8 long Seasons with a never-failing string of superbly choreographed and perfectly executed dances for his chance to win a Mirror Ball Trophy!

(I should have known that Val would not stand to be long out-done by his older brother, Maksim “Maks” Chmerkovskiy, who won his Mirror Ball in Season 18 with Gold Medal-winning, Olympic Figure Skater Meryl Davis!)

Unlike their Champion predecessors, Rumer & Val were presented with DWTS’ first Golden Mirror Ball Trophy (instead of a Silver one) in honor of the show’s 10^th Anniversary Season!

Once again, I find that the end of a Season is so bittersweet for me … it’s always so exciting and wonderful to finally see one couple be named the new Mirror Ball Champions of Dancing with the Stars; but, it is also so sad to watch my (absolute!) favorite television show disappear for the next several months … <waaah!>!

In an intense, edge-of-your-seat race to the golden Mirror Ball Trophy, Rumer Willis and Valentin Chmerkovskiy met with Riker Lynch and Allison Holker at the top of the Leader Board with an exciting TIE, concluding the first half of DWTS’ 2-night, 10^th Anniversary Season Finale!

Rumer &Val‘s amazing, Wk01 Foxtrot was (unbelievably!) all the more excellent its second time around the ballroom dance floor and proved to be just what this dazzling couple needed to kick-start their journey to the head of the pack, Monday night!

And just when you thought that the partnership and skill-level of  Rumer & Val couldn’t  possibly get any better, they come out & dance their (Highly-Anticipated!) Freestyle!

I mean to say, this routine was  incredible!!  (Can I just see that dance again, and again, and again!?!)

Val’s brilliant choreography and Rumer’s positively exquisite dancing of it was nothing less then breath-taking!!!

Absolutely stunning!

Not to be outdone, "Love", Riker & Allison blew us all away with an explosive re-dancing of their Wk05 Paso Doble that was even better and more amazing than their first attempt, "Savvy?" !!

The couple then followed up with the unleashing of their Fantastic Freestyle onto the ballroom dance floor!

It’s been a long time of waiting for this Fast and Furious Couple’s Contribution to the Fan-Favorite Freestyle rounds, and the team of Riker & Allison did not disappoint!!

Allison’s choreography was 100% perfect, and Riker’s spot-on dancing rivaled even the male pros!

All in all, this night was definitely one for the record books, and served as a fun-filled reminder as to exactly why these two dynamic duos deserve to be Season 20 Finalists!!!

Where am I?  Why am I lying on the floor?

< Sitting up on elbows and looking around in a confused daze >

And what’s that noise? … Oh!  It’s Castle playing on my T.V. …

< leaning up to switch it off >

What happened?  The last thing I can recall is watching DWTS’ Season 20 Semifinals Elimination and … Oh, yeah … Nastia & Derek were eliminated! … Ai-yi-yi, ... what up?!  Of all the stupid … wait, ... if I’m going to gripe about this, I should at least be writing …

< Seating myself back in my chair and fumbling clumsily for my keyboard > … 

So ... Nastia Liukin and her professional dancing partner, Derek Hough, were eliminated this week from Dancing With The Stars and therefore will not be advancing to the Finals … this totally stinks!

Of all the stupid and idiotic eliminations this show has seen, this one has got to take the cake!  Well … this one and the one where Charlie White and his partner Sharna Burgess were not allowed to advance past the Semifinals in Season 18 …

Nastia & Derek’s dancing (and choreography) has been nothing less than perfect all season long!

Now, granted, of all the remaining celebrities in Season 20, "Nasty" Nastia did seem to have the worst personality (It’s a wonder she doesn’t just trip all the time, what with her nose constantly up in the air like that!);  and that, no doubt, is what cost them the votes needed to get to the Finals next week; but, c’mon, you cannot argue that Nastia’s dancing was superb!

Then again, how can you honestly say that Noah Galloway does not deserve to be in the finals?  He is an American hero who has sacrificed an arm and a leg fighting for our country … and, oh yeah! … he is also a really good dancer!

And what about Rumer Willis?  That girl has been kicking some serious Ballroom @$$ since Week 01!  Plus, she is really, super likable!

And don’t even get me started on Riker Lynch … he’s a regular @$$-kicking, show-stealing, born-to-dance “Hough”!  And he’s extremely likable, too!

Would it have killed the show to have 4 Finalists this season (Just like they did last season) and not just 3?!?

< Sigh! >  I guess in the end, when you think about it, there really wasn’t a great way for this Semifinals to go … it still stinks, though!

As a final note, if they had to go, there  certainly was no better way for Nastia & Derek to end their DWTS journey then with (what very well may have been Derek's last dance, as a competing Pro, on the show ... < not gonna cry, not gonna cry! > ... )  their moving Viennese Waltz with Len Goodman, (who also may NOT be coming back next Season - - okay, now I really am gonna cry! ... Don't go Lenny!) ... one of the best, most memorable dances on Dancing With The Stars, EVER!!
