Dancing a patriotic Waltz to “America the Beautiful”
as sung by Ray Chew Live, Alek Skarlatos and his partner, Lindsay Arnold, presented their
first Week 10 routine.

Okay, first off, I just have to ask, what in the
world could Ray Chew have
been thinking with the arranging, singing, and MURDERING of this song?!
... ...
And, secondly, I LOVED this dance!!

Beautiful Steps, graceful ease of Movement, and an
always-masculine, impeccable Frame were once again and ever-so-masterfully
combined by Season 21’s heroic, American son, making this Waltz one of loveliest
seen this Season!

Lindsay’s Choreography, it should also be said, seemed to have left its recent decline, re-blossoming on Monday night’s Ballroom dance floor in the form of a truly exquisite, emoting performance!

And although Julianne
Hough may have shamefully undervalued Alek’s overall dancing ability by implying that of course he
performed well, it was “Ballroom” dance, it didn’t stop the judges from
awarding the number with all 10’s, marking Alek
& Lindsay’s first perfect score of the Season!
