Dancing With The Stars’ 21st Season was one with many delightful twists and turns, as Week by gratifying Week it's increasingly show-stopping routines danced across America’s television screens, never failing to enchant and thrill us!
From exquisite Movement being ever so shockingly showcased by Down Under’s famed, animal loving Daughter, to the Formidable Frame and Ballroom grace displayed by America’s beloved son and International Hero, to the excellent Standard immediately set (and kept!) by an already endeared Nickelodeon Actor, DWTS’ latest high-stepping escapades proved anything but expected!
Regardless, this amazing Season’s wrap-up, while inarguably PERFECT, remained little more than predictable, naming its Fan-backed and Media-dubbed “Mirror Ball Favorites”, Bindi Irwin and Derek Hough, the show’s newest Champions!
And while such a befitting and hard-earned title could not have befallen a more incredible or deserving Season 21 Couple, it cannot be refuted that the Season’s exhilarating conclusion could hardly be labeled as such were it not for the equally hard-earned efforts consistently displayed by the Show’s three other amazing Finalists, which declaration brings this devoted dwtslover to yet another, enthusiastic installment of A Focus on the Finalists.
Alek & Lindsay:
Truly an INCREDIBLE and out-of-left-field Couple, American Hero and Legion of Honor Recipient, Alek Skarlatos, and his partner, Lindsay Arnold, began their competitive Season with a breath-taking Week 01 Foxtrot, giving Fans of the show their very first exquisite taste of Alek’s natural Ballroom Grace and Ability!

An ever strong Frame and an accompanying “Leading Man” Quality (that would, time and again, deftly define this unexpected Competitor) continued to aide Alek in his Season-long trek across the dance floor, effectively living up to his already firmly established, Heroic Character as Week by passing Week Skarlatos took part in a string of amazing dances and routines including:
a Week 02 “Hometown” Jazz Number,
a fast and furious Week 02 Quickstep,
a powerfully performed and chilling-ly terrific, True Blood-themed, Week 03 Tango,
a perfectly “Framed” and exquisitely danced Week 04 Paso Doble,
an especially sweet, passionately felt, Romantic Rumba with Alek’s Week 05 Switch Up Partner, Emma Slater,
a Music Legend-inspired Week 06 “Jail-time Jive”,
a beautifully danced, “haunting” Week 07 Viennese Waltz,
a fantastically fun, ghost busting Week 07 Team Dance Freestyle,
a Lift-filled and dramatic Week 08 Contemporary,
a sincere Week 08 Dance-off Samba effort,
a seriously “Show stopping” Paso Doble Dance Duet to “We Will Rock You” with fellow Season 21 competitors, Carlos PenaVega and Witney Carson,
an All American, “Beautiful”, Week 10 Waltz,
A dark and erotic Argentine Tango Trio Dance with Alek’s rumor-sparking “crush”, Emma,
A super “Fun” Semifinals Dance Off against previous “Team mates”, Carlos & Witney,
a Week 11, delightful Rumba,
