Gimme, gimme some lovin' for THIS next TeamStopandGo Performance!!

Okay, okay, so true (and MOST unfortunately!),   James’ Jiving wasn’t the absolute best, his Kicks and Flicks being so very less than sharp at times; but, it cannot be denied that, sharp or no, this Round 2 Formula equaled Wildly Entertaining!!

Fast, furious, and fabulously FANTASTIC, this high-speed <Ahem!> race to Season 23’s next Week's Finals was chocked FULL of Dancing goodies, including that of GREAT Musicality, incredible, In-sync Movements, and – We simply cannot forget! – a surprise appearance by one tough, little Formula Race Car!!

(And might I just add, those jivin’ Outfits were KICKIN’it –and Flickin’ it, I suppose! - as well!!)

Almost predestined to include the ever-talented and gracious Jenna, this Trio’s trip around the Ballroom’s track was, succinctly, quite the terrific ride; and, I, for one, positively LOVED it!!

Exquisite Dancing by Terra, aided, of course, with some truly splendid Choreography that was pos-i-tive-ly CRIMINAL – LOL!!  I loved the Trench Coat and Cuffs, see? – this Tango effectively turned up the Ballroom’s heat for Monday Night's Trios Round, taking its proper place as one the absolute BEST Dances of the evening!!

Presenting one truly “Ole!” of a Performance that’s almost sure to make Season 23’s other Competitors <Ahem!> green with envy, this masterful display of Discipline-meets-Party was a distinct pleasure to behold, with its all kinds of crazy cute and widely fun moments that were PERFECTLY mixed in with some WHOA!-Did-you-SEE-that?? Moments!

Complete with Rhythmic Dancing, one Double Leap Frog, one INSANE Lift, and one equally impressively smooth Dismount, this exciting Performance seemed solely designed to OBLITERATE all expectations of Season 23’s Wide Receiver – an  endeavor most successful, as this delighting piece just blew away its audiences!!

Showstoppers Night RETURNS

For Week 09 of Season 23!!

<Ahhhh!!>

Making its SPECTACULAR, high-sequined comeback for Week 09 of Season 23 will be the exhilarating Showstoppers Night, in which, Dancing with the Stars’ 6 remaining Couples will participate within 2, separate Rounds of Dancing on Monday Night, the first of which will include Songs from famous Broadway Plays, and the second will include the always scary-BUT-gratifying celebrity Team Up Challenge!

(<Rubbing Hands Together> Ooo, I simply cannot WAIT!!)

The Team Up Challenge will consist of the Show’s 6 Couples being paired (or “Team”-ed!) up into 3 Groups of 2.

During Monday’s Second Round, these same Couples will then participate in three, separateTeam Dances!!

… As a nail-gnawing twist, both Pros from each Group will then be required to step away from their respective Groups for a portion of each Team Up Performance and allow their Celebs to dance together, rather than with them!

(YIKES!!)

In addition, “Frozen” Singer and Broadway Superstar, Idina Menzel, is set to perform her new hit, “Queen of Swords” LIVE in the Ballroom as part of Monday’s … well, showstopping events, as well as Guest Judge for the evening, along with DWTS' Judging staples, Julianne Hough, Bruno Tonioli, and Carrie Ann Inaba!

In further exciting news, DWTS’ 2-time Mirror Ball Champion and long-absent Pro, the beloved Mark Ballas, will RETURN to the Ballroom to sing “December ‘63” from his starring role of Frankie Vallie within Broadway’s hit, Jersey Boys, as part of Mark’s best friend and fellow Multi-Mirror Ball Winner, Derek Hough’s Round One Samba with Actress, Marilu Henner!!

Also performing live will be Musical Artist, Leona Lewis, (Isn’t she currently dating DWTS' Troupe Member, Dennis Jaunch??) with the hit song “Memories”  from her recently-wrapped Broadway Revival of Cats as part of high-scoring Duo, Calvin Johnson and LindsayArnold's, Round One Waltz!

Capping off the evening’s captivating events will be the possible absence of not one but TWO Pros from the Ballroom’s Dance Floor, as Professionals Sharna Burgess and Gleb Savchenko are – Most unfortunately! – presently down-and-out-for-the-count, each with their own individual Knee Injuries, and are likely to be temporarily replaced by fellow, talented Dance Professionals Jenna Johnson and Alan Bersten, respectively.

It’s an INCREDIBLE Night like no other for DWTS' already glamorous Glitter Dome; and, it takes place LIVE on Monday Night!!

CRAZY Cute Choreography (Great job Mark!  Great job, great job, great job!!) flooded – or “strutted”, I guess! – onto Monday night's Ballroom Dance Floor, opening up Season 22’s highly anticipated Semifinals in all the right, outrageous ways, aided by a no less than PERFECT Performance Execution by this Season's very own Dynamite Competitor, Paige!

Spectacular Rhythm, Truly Terrific Showmanship, one Superb, THREE-WAY Samba Roll, Exhilarating Footwork, and, of course, that all-too important Samba Hip Action all came together for Paige during this Grin-inducing Number, resulting in one of the most memorable Routines of Season 22 (and of the entire show, for that matter!) and certainly one of Paige & Mark’s BEST Dances to date!!  … And, believe you me, that is really saying something!

(And we simply must take a paragraphed parenthesis to talk about DWTS Troupe member, Alan Bersten, whose seemingly effortless and yet CRUCIAL stepping in for Mark Ballas as Paige’s Professional partner in the dance - with only 2 hours of Rehearsal time, according to Host Tom Bergeron -  helped to catapult this Routine to the remarkable, jaw-dropping Performance that it was!  

… Quick!!  Somebody make this boy a full-time “Pro”, before it’s too late, and he tragically slips away like his former, fellow Troupe member, Brittany Cherry did!)

Earning a more-than-well-deserved score of all 8’s from the show's Judges, Wanya's successful night was perfectly capped off by tying for 1^st Place at the top of Monday’s Leader Board, along with his fellow high-scoring hoofer, Paige Vanzant!
