The show officially waved “Bye” to the Teary-eyed Teen following an impressive night of performances which included a Whirling Werewolf’s Waltz to “Once Upon a Dream” by Lana Del Rey and a High-scoring, Freestyle Team Dance to “This is halloween” by Danny Elfman.

“They are brilliant people,” the emotional Vine star noted of his fellow Season 21 Cast upon leaving, according to people.com.  “This has meant so much to me.”

Hayes Grier is duly impressed upon hearing

that 5-time Mirror Ball Champion, Derek Hough,

has won the  Team Dances for twelve seasons
in a row!  DWTS - S21, Wk 07

Popular public opinion would suggest a strong desire to have seen Tamar Braxton be the one who got the Week 07 boot, as her self-promoting comment - “… It’s hard for me to say without coming across being shady; but, I’m probably the best dancer in the competition.” -  shown in her pre-dance Rehearsal Package seemed to have caused great offense amongst fans of the show.

I, myself, would concur with these emotions, and was furthermore very sorry to see young Hayes go as he was doing so well!  He wasn’t the best Celebrity Dancer, to be sure, but Hayes was displaying a steady progression from Week to Week that was gratifying to see and exciting to watch in all of his dances!

I must say, I really enjoyed this dance!

Hayes’ impressive Frame, Musicality, Lines, and overall execution of this performance were notably good, and not too easily achieved, considering the fact that the song was slowed down to a snail’s pace (<Clearing throat awkwardly> The song was already a ¾ time “Waltz”, people.  What on earth are you doing?!).

But with all this, I have to add, concerning the choreography, that I cannot understand the thinking behind the concept of this dance … Hayes & Emma were dancing to “Once Upon a Dream” from the 2015 Disney movie, Maleficent, right?  I’m just gonna go out on a limb here and submit the (apparently-crazy) notion that the dance’s Creative Concept, Costumes, and Set Designs were already laid out for Emma …

Was there even ONE Werewolf character throughout the entire film?!

Don’t get me wrong ... As I said, I really did enjoy this routine; and, sweet, likeable Emma rates all kinds of “passes” within the show (!) … I’m just saying … it is a little silly, right?

Opening up Season 21’s exciting Famous Dances Night was Hayes Grier and his Professional dancing partner, Emma Slater, dancing a Jazz number to “You’re The One That I Want” (Love that Song!) from Grease.

Ooo, ooo, ooo, honey, I really enjoyed this performance!

Seriously, folks, and while there can only be ONE John Travolta, Hayes totally nailed this Character!

Those are some awfully big shoes to fill; and, though Hayes' dancing of this routine may not have quite measured up, this 15-year-old just completely stunned all with his great Musicality, his well-executed Steps, and his (it should be said) insane athletic ability!

I mean, did anyone else see all those fantastic Flips and Leaps?! … They were amazing!

And not to mention, Hayes’ apparent ability to hoist Emma off the ground in a the-greatest-of-ease-Lift and spin her around was terrific!!

It should be noted here, and brought to memory, that young Hayes is only Fifteen, making that Lift all the harder for him and all the more impressive!!

You know, with each passing week, it just seems as though Hayes’ dancing keeps getting better and better … and Week number 04, was certainly no exception!

Hayes was so great, I thought, in this performance, with his terrific Musicality and his delightfully smooth and seemingly-easy Movement!

True, his Character Portrayal within the performance could use some work … he still looks as though he is constantly out of breath, as he keeps his mouth hanging wide open … the result of intense concentrating while trying to remember the steps of the routine, no doubt; but, otherwise, it was a fantastic showing; and, Hayes succeeded in revealing yet another surprising layer of dancing ability and depth.

Nick danced a beautiful and elegant Viennese Waltz
on TV Night to the theme from Downton Abby.
The performance earned Nick & Sharna all 9’s,
tying them at the top of the Leader Board with Alexa & Mark
(who had performed a Jazz routine earlier to the theme from
Breaking Bad). Here, upon receiving his scores, an elated
Nick accidentally dropped and broke a glass 
which was given to him to hold
following his period piece dance,
causing DWTS co-Host, Erin Andrews, to burst
out with laughter! 

Bindi & Derek were so great TV Night when
they danced an amazing Quickstep to the theme
from the Jeffersons!

DWTS Band Leader, Ray Chu, certainly had plenty
of reason to smile Monday night,
as he and his talented Band and Singers did a fantastic
job of accompanying the the Night’s TV-themed dances!

How about a big hand for DWTS’ live Band,
Ray Chu Live, who did a

Closing down TV Night was YouTube sensation Hayes Grier and his Professional dancing partner Emma Slater, serving up a delightful Jive on the half-shell to “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Theme” by Chuck Lorre and Dennis C. Brown, from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!

The choreography was fast, zany, and Appropriately Adorbs - if not bordering on adorkable - which was, again, appropriate, so well done, Emma!

As for Hayes’ Jiving, his Flips and Kicks were FAR more impressive than his Flicks and Kicks (Point those toes!); and, his face did look as though he had a screw loose in his Jaw line or something (“ … You looked out of breath, …” voiced judge Carrie Ann Inaba!); but, the guy was asked to do a Jive in a friggin’, full-blown turtle costume ... plus, his musicality was very good; AND, he was so incredibly in sync with Emma (despite Julianne Hough’s critiques to the contrary!), so overall I must say that I thought he did extremely well for himself!
