Patti LaBelle:

An endeared, former Contestant of DWTS, this 2-time Grammy winner danced in Season 20 of the show, along with her then Pro partner Artem Chigvintsev, Placing 7^th overall!


Ben Aaron:

A co-Host of the comedy Talk Series, Crazy Talk, the Husband of ABC Meteorologist, Ginger Zee, was present in DWTS’ live Audience once to watch his Wife shake things up in her Switch Up Salsa with Pro, Mark Ballas!



Jacoby Jones:

Season 16’s 3^rd Place Finalist and a NFL legend, Jacoby was there to enthusiastically root for (and defend!) his former Pro partner, Karina Smirnoff, as she performed an exciting, Switch Up Cha-Cha with another famed Wide Receiver, Antonio Brown! 



Rumer Willis:

The Golden Mirror Ball winner of DWTS’ exhilarating 10^th Anniversary Season (Season 20) and the endeared Daughter of Hollywood A-Listers, Bruce Willis (<Ahhhh!> BRUCE!!) and Demi Moore, Rumer was present in the Ballroom once more to cheer on her former partner, Valentin Chmerkovskiy, as he Switched things up with his new Celebrity Dancer, Jodie Sweetin! 



Shawn Stockman:

This Boyz II Men Singer was back in the DWTS Ballroom yet again, excitedly cheering on his fellow crooner and Season 22 Contestant, Wanya Morris. 


B. C. Jean:

The one half of the fantastic, Musical Duo, Alexander Jean (along with her recently announced Fiancé, DWTS Pro, Mark Ballas), B.C. could be seen sitting in the show’s live Audience, rooting for her known, “meant to be” love (Get it?), Mark!



Brittany Cherry:

Hey, alright!  Brittany’s back!!  The former beloved DWTS Troupe Member could be seen last Monday evening hanging around in the Ballroom’s always happening Red Room, presumably catching up with her friends and fellow Dancers!



Tyra Banks:

This famed Supermodel, as well as Executive Producer and Host for the hit Television Series, America’s Next Top Model, was present on Monday within the Glitter Dome, openly cheering for A.N.T.M.’s Season 22 winner, Nyle DiMarco, who would eventually take home DWTS' Season 22’s very first perfect “10” (as was awarded him by Head Judge, Len Goodman) for his beautifully executed Viennese Waltz with his Switch Up Pro partner, Sharna Burgess!

It's Disney Night! oh, its so much fun to guess the
characters as they come out ... ooh! here's one now!

(Gorgeous production ... but ... nope, still no clue!)

A moment of elegance in Patti & Artem's Waltz.

So ... there's Pinocchio, Geppetto, and I saw Figaro, the cat ...
which would make Artem, Jiminy Cricket (?), and
Patti, The Yellow Fairy ... wait ... ... what the !?!??

("Lift Police" is Judge Carrie Anne Inaba's self-proclaimed title
when taking off whole points while judging / scoring a Waltz
for even the slightest-of-slight "lifts" during the dance!)
Artem is great; and, I like Patti; but,
why the blatant double-standards this Season?!
It is quite tiresome!

REVIEW:  Patti & Artem

Patti & Artem:

Patti LaBelle and her professional dancing partner, Artem  Chigvintsev, opened up Spring Break Night with their Quickstep to "Heat Wave" by Martha and the Vandellas.

"The show must go on!" seemed to be the motto that Miss Patti danced by Monday night, when she daringly carried on with her performance despite the fact that she was doing it with only one shoe !!!

Things went a little awry for Patti & Artem during the couple's routine, when Patti attempted to kick off both of her heels (a sweet nod to her concert fans who have witnessed the same action many times during Patti's long and very successful singing career); however, she only managed to dislodge her left shoe!  Undaunted, Patti continued on with the dance as though all was going according to plan ... as was noted by Carrie Ann Inaba when she laughingly observed, " ... You made it look like a new fashion statement! ... ".

Okay, so granted, her dancing wasn't the greatest (I thought that Carrie Ann's 8 was a little generous), but it was a decent Quickstep, and the overall dance was very characteristically fun and entertaining!

In the end, shoe or no shoe, Patti got to leave on what was truly her best dance of the Season ... "What a lovely way to burn!"

REVIEW:  Patti & Artem

Pattti & Artem:

Patti LaBelle and Artem Chigvintsev danced the Waltz on Disney Night to "When You Wish Upon a Star" from Pinocchio.

So ... there's Pinocchio, Geppetto, and I saw Figaro, the cat ...
which would make Artem, Jiminy Cricket (?), and
Patti, The Yellow Fairy ... wait ... ... what the !?!?? 

<Zzzzzzzzz ... Snort! ... > Oh, sorry!  Was I doing it again?  (Apparently I tend to react that way when watching, discussing, or just thinking about Patti's dance!)

Okay, okay, so it might not of been that bad; but, my nose would be 10 feet long right about now if I didn't say that Waltz was like a sleeping pill ... Or ...  As Carrie Ann Inaba phrased it, " ... When you dance, it's like listening to a lullaby!  ..." (BTW, where was the self-proclaimed "Lift police" during the last few seconds of the dance when both of Patti's feet left the floor !?!).

Artem is great; and, I like Patti; but,

To be completely fair, there was an overall tone of grace and softness to the performance that was befitting a Waltz and that was in good keeping with this Disney song classic; (except for that one part of the dance where Patti's hands seemed to have gotten away from her ... was there a fly in the ballroom, or what?) but, in the end, I found this routine to be dull and (dare I say) unimpressive!

Just when you think that the team of Patti LaBelle and Artem  Chigvintsev might not be able to pull it off another week, this delightful pair come out and  put on yet another entertaining performance that plants a smile across your face ... and Patti's Week 04 Jazz was no exception!

Granted, from a technical aspect of the dance, Patti's jazz was only a little better than her previous dances but, the performance level remained top-notch!
