Kim Fields, a well-known Television Actress, Singer, and Reality Show star is set to join Dancing With The Stars’ all new, Spring Cast for Season 22!

Perhaps best known for her childhood Acting career, Fields shot to fame in the late 70’s/early 80’s upon being cast in the role of little Tootie Ramsey in NBC’s hit Sitcom, The Facts of Life (1979-1988).

Whilst still performing on the vastly popular show, Fields went on to add Professional Singing to her ever-widening Career path, gaining some notable success with Singles such as “He Loves Me He Loves Me Not” and “Dear Michael”.

Currently, Kim reigns supreme in Atlanta, Georgia, having been cast in Bravo’s Reality Series, The Real Housewives of Atlanta, for the show’s 8^th Season.

Partnered with DWTS’ newly reinstated Pro, Sasha Farber (whose first and only go around of competing as a Pro in the Ballroom was with Television Personality and fellow Reality star, “Snooki” [Polizzi] LaVelle, in Season 17), Kim is set to dance LIVE for the first time on Monday night for the show’s Premiere on March 21^st, 2016.

“I hadn’t thought about the live factor, thank you …” Fields laughed during an Interview, according to people.com, when discussing her impending Performance on the Dance Floor.

“No,” she continued more soberly, “I’m excited about that as well.  … just really excited to be adding another new component to my career – and this is definitely that.”

It also seems that Kim will have plenty of support in her corner cheering her on, as she relates of her The Real Housewives of Atlanta co-star, NeNe Leakes (who competed on DWTS for the Program’s Season 18 with Professional Dancer and former Mirror Ball Champion, Tony Dovolani), “... [She] was just like, ‘Just have a great time.  You’ll love Sasha’ – I love Sasha!  So that’s been cool.”

And it would seem that Kim intends to pay heed to the fun-loving advice, given by Leakes, noting that she fully intends to soak in every “great” moment.

“[I’m] learning something new that I can also take with me in life, tapping into some of the history in my life and my culture, from Harlem to my maternal grandmother, who was a dancer, so I’m excited about those things.”  But, adds the 46-year-old, “I think most importantly, just working with Sasha.”

“Awww, she’s very sweet.” chimed in her Pro partner, Farber … just before making the quip, “I paid her a lot of money for this,”!
