A Brief Look at Our DWTS, Season 22 Cast! – Von Miller

Some More Information

re: the Members of DWTS,

Season 22’s Cast!!

NFL Linebacker for Colorado's Denver Broncos, Von Miller,  is joining the Cast of DWTS for its all new and exciting venture, Season 22!

The 26-year-old All American Honor Recipient and winner of the Butkus Award (2010 and 2012) is, of course, most currently and widely known as a sport of Football's great hero, being crowned one of 2016’s Super Bowl Champions along with his Team, the Broncos, AND being duly named Super Bowl 50’s MVP (Most Valuable Player) of the Match!

In addition to his already staunch record as an Outside Linebacker, Von holds the distinction of having been selected to attend Football’s prestigious Pro Bowl an incredible 4 times, his first having been at the conclusion of his  Rookie Year.

A Football-force to be reckoned with when on the field, to be sure; but, now it seems that the young Sports Star has elected to trade in his Pads and Helmet, at least for the time being, choosing rather instead to don Sequins and a pair of Dancing Shoes as part of Dancing With The Stars' recently announced Spring Cast!

A historically exhilarating pursuit within the show, and certainly not one without its promising predecessors, Miller’s recruitment proves the latest in a long line of Football regulars to have joined the biannual Reality Dance Program, many of whom having known great success while in the Ballroom, and some even having gone as far as to win the show's shining Mirror Ball Trophy, including that of Legendary Players, Emmitt Smith, Hines Ward, and Donald Driver.

who was confirmed on March 8th as Miller's Professional Dancing Partner in his newest, high-hoofing endeavor, has stated that Von must bring his On-the-Field qualities to the Ballroom Dance floor in order to afford the newly established duo their best chance at bringing home a Trophy!

“We’ve got to be teammates,” the 22-year-old Dancer recently shared with People during an interview, “Just like how he is on the field with his teammates …”

And it would seem that Miller wholeheartedly agrees, earning the praise of his Emmy-nominated Pro, Carson (whom he has affectionately referred to as being  the “ toughest middle linebacker ever danced with”, according to ibtimes.com), as Witney revealed while giving an interview to Entertainment Tonight, “He’s great on Choreography.  He's an amazing student.  I love that I get to boss a big football player around,”

“I’m super excited,” She went on to gush during that same ET interview, according to ibtimes.com, “but it’s kind of scary,” admitted the former Champ, “ ... I cringed when I heard there were two other football players [in the competition],”

Still, Carson seems determined to let Miller's recent, Football Star actions <Ahem!> take the lead on this issue, as she divulged her plans to make Von the MVP of the Glitter Dome, as well as the Super Bowl!

Says Witney, “… we've just got to make him stand out!”

With that in mind, Witney also shared with ET Step One of her strategy, revealing that the Couple's first dance will be a Foxtrot, and that she would be sure to throw a little bit of Von in it!

“It’s not a normal foxtrot song,” she hinted, “it’s kind of a little more pop-y.  It’s going to be good.  It kind of shows his personality as well as his dance moves.”

Naturally, her teasing statements have gotten some Fans of the show and certain Media Outlets wondering whether or not Von & Witney will be incorporating some of Von's notorious Victory Dance Moves from the End Zone within any upcoming routines, including that of Week 01’s.

But, alas!  It appears that the Fans and Media alike will just have to wait for the show's Premiere to find out, which is set to air on March 21st, 2016!
