re: the Members of DWTS,

Season 22’s Cast!!

Hot Dog!

Jodie Sweetin, an Actress most notably of childhood fame, has been officially announced as joining Dancing With The Stars’ all-new and exciting, Season 22 Cast!

“… FINALLY!!!  I can share the fantastic news that I’ll be joining DWTS @dancingabc season!!  Can’t wait!! …” The 34-year-old shared during an Instagram post, after an official announcement was made in early March on GMA (Good Morning America), along with the confirmation that the elated Jodie had been paired with DWTS Pro, Keo Motsepe!

Perhaps best known for her young, acting role in the hit ABC Television Series, Full House, Sweetin’s starring screen time as the Tanner family’s middle daughter, Stephanie, won her nationwide recognition during the show’s widely popular 1987-‘95 run.

Following the  show’s near-decade airing, Sweetin emerged from the show as a greatly endeared face in the world of Television and Sitcoms, her character having also spawned some well-beloved, Television Catchphrases including, “Hot Dog!”, “How Rude!” and “Well, pin a rose on your nose!”.

“I think so many people know me as Stephanie and as that character, which is amazing and there’s been incredible support for it,” gushed Sweetin to People of her large fan-base in a recent interview.

As it turns out, Sweetin’s career-defining role as the out-going Tanner may have SWEETened her life in more ways than one, as the former child star divulged, according to people.com “…Stephanie was a dancer on the show,”!

A real-life inspired trait, or so it would seem, as the Actress also dished, “I’ve always loved to dance.   … I danced growing up, not as much as I would have liked to, I definitely don’t call myself a professional but I have some moves, I have some rhythm …”

And as a self-named Lover of Dance, it should come as no great surprise that joining the throng of Celebrities in DWTS’ biannual Ballroom Cast seems to have been a long-awaited dream come true for Jodie.

Says Sweetin, “… I’m a huge fan of the show,”

Her role as Stephanie Tanner having been recently reprised in the Netflix Original Series smash, Fuller House (2016-Present) Jodie notes that her “Dancing Corner” is sure to be <Ahem!> Full Up!

“They are so excited,” reported Sweetin, according to people.com, of her fellow Fuller Cast members reaction to her competing in the Ballroom next Monday, “They have known about this for a little while and they are just thrilled.  They wanna come support me, they can’t wait to be in the audience.  They want to be there every week … all of them are like, ‘We’re gonna be there cheering for you!’ so it’s great.  I have a lot of love and a lot of really wonderful family support from them.”

And apparently, Candace Cameron-Bure, who stars in Fuller House’s Lead role of D.J. Tanner Fuller, had some sisterly advice to offer her on-screen little sis, having competed on the Dance Program herself for the show’s Season 18, and finishing in an incredible 3rd Place overall, along with her Professional partner, Mark Ballas.

“She’s been really great and excited for me” said Sweetin of Cameron-Bure, who also served as the former’s Matron of Honor at her first Wedding in 2002,  “and has shared with me that this is going to be one of the most exciting, overwhelming, physically and mentally demanding things that I’ll ever do but that it’s incredibly worth it,”

“She said that ‘This is gonna be a challenge, you will push yourself, you will work hard, but you will love every minute of it, and it’s a once in a lifetime experience,’ so I’m really trying to just soak up and enjoy every moment.”

Of course, foremost among her enthusiastic “cheerleaders” is naturally her Season 22 Professional partner, Keo, who has already expressed some positive reactions to some promising dancing chops displayed by Jodie in Episode 03 of Fuller House’s first Season, when Jodie’s character, Stephanie, danced with the show’s Guest Star, Valentin Chmerkovskiy, a DWTS regular and Mirror Ball Champion.

“I saw [Val] dancing with Stephanie and I was like, ‘Wow, she can dance.’ ”  Related Motsepe of the hit, “cross-over” event, according to inquisitr.com, “‘I wish she would come dance with me on the show [DWTS].  That would be awesome if I could dance with her.’  And it just so happens that she’s my partner this season.”

And just what exactly is Step One for Season 22’s first Announced Couple, on the road to that shining Mirror Ball Trophy?  Making it past Week 03!

Since first beginning his Professional career on the show in Season 19, Keo has yet to make it past Week 03 of the competition; but, having now been paired with Sweetin, the Pro (who has notably used the word “grateful” when describing his current DWTS partnership) seems FULLy (get it?) confident in his hope that the Actress will be his veritable Golden Ticket to progress to Week 04 and beyond!

“We can’t wait to see you on the dance floor!” exclaimed the 26-year-old Dancer, via his Instagram page (https://www.instagram.com/p/BC8ptm6zB_s/?taken-by=keo_motsepe&hl=en) on March 14th, along with an adorable, accompanying Pic of the exuberant Couple showcasing the number “7” - using their hands - and tagging the post with, “#TeamMoSweet  #DWTS  #7MoreDays”
