To begin their Week 02 of the competition, Nick Carter and his partner, Sharna Burgess, danced a fun and lively WWII-themed Jive!

Well, right off, that's some seriously crazy cute choreography happening there, Sharna, so kudos for that; and secondly, I actually found that - much to my GREAT surprise - Nick’s Footwork in this routine left much to be desired!

Now, I realize that there was something going on with his dance shoes; and, when running across the dance floor, they ended up causing the poor guy to slip and fall during the performance (!); however, those shoes were not necessarily the cause for Nick’s sloppy Kicks and Flicks.
In any case, you have to give Nick an A for absolute professional showmanship, as was revealed when he never missed a beat and recovered so naturally from his fall!

I gotta tell you, I totally sided with judge Julianne Hough, on this one … Arrrggggghhhh! Nick, Nick, Nick, you are killing me here! … This Foxtrot was so beautifully choreographed; and your dancing of it was so very smooth and graceful! Not to mention, your playing of the dance’s character was positively first-rate!
